Heh, the new BBEdit 10 has a "Strip trailing whitespace" preference.

I just resaved LJ/User.pm for the first time with that feature turned on, and it found several instances of trailing whitespace to strip out for me.

Until recently I had 8.7 and either didn't have it or didn't find it. The prefs UI in v10 is much improved!

*nod* I took a brief look to see if I could find it just now and I can't, so I may have been imagining it. I don't think I was, but I might've been confusing it with a different program...
